Wedding Colors that Will Make You Swoon!

If you are still looking to find some great colors for your wedding, take a deep breath, pour yourself a martini and have no fear. Sometimes, the best color palettes are right in front of you.  Don’t be afraid to look for inspiration in your favorite places, stories, architecture, movies and anything else that strikes your fancy.  Your colors should have an emotional effect on you– casting a mood on your event.

How to make it yours

Find a picture that inspires you, it can be anything– places, abstract art, florals, jewelry…absolutely anything!  Venture off to your nearest home improvement store and look at paint swatches and begin finding colors from your picture.  Don’t be afraid incorporate textures and sheen!  Remember that pastels add light, while metallics add an element of sophistication.  If you love one particular color, go ombré with it by using graduated shades.  Want to see more of our color palette inspiration?  Check out our Color Palette board on Pinterest!
