Ashaki + Embry
These two lawyers fell in love in college and had their gilded Marie Antoinette detailed wedding in the Southern gardens of the Jekyll Island Club's Crane Cottage. We were inspired by the beautiful Versailles and created a gorgeous outdoor ceremony and reception which included sculpted petal aisles, with swags of ivory chiffon and satin, tall golden candelabras and ornamented bowls boasting mounds of fluffy white hydrangeas and roses. When the sun set, the garden was lit in pink and yellow stage lighting, a precursor to the evening's toast-- vintage Coca Cola as a nod to the couple's alma mater. :: Photos by Agnes Lopez20 Photos
Caryn + Jonathon
As two busy doctors, Caryn and Jonathon wanted a relaxing, yet glamorous, vintage touch to their destination wedding. Drawing inspiration from Old Hollywood restaurant Brown Derby and the colors of autumn, tables were adorned in shimmery tangerine linens and lush red roses doted with hypericum berries. Their sweetheart table was surrounded by palms, a la Hollywood's Copa, and sat under satin drapery amidst golden candlelight.23 Photos
Elise + Ned :: Playacar Place, Riviera Maya
When we first began working with Elise + Ned, we knew we wanted something casual, fun and nontraditional. What we created was a fun wedding holiday weekend in Riviera Maya, Mexico filled with Gringo Mustache dinners, trips to Mayan ruins, karaoke parties, a beach ceremony mariachi band recessional and fire dancers! Elise's favorite flower, a cymbidium orchid, served as inspiration for both the ceremony and beachside reception :: Photos by Daniel Aguilar.20 Photos
Scarlett + Stephen :: Jacksonville, FL
As wedding photographers, Scarlett + Stephen see beauty and love with every day in their career. So, when it was their turn for their nuptials, we wanted something deep rooted in their vibrant personalities, their faith and most importantly their love. Designed around Scarlett's love for hot pink and bling, we created a chic tented affair at her mother's home with crystals, ruffled and damask linens and stage lighting. Guests enjoyed some of their favorite southern foods as well as danced all night while their favorite videos and pictures were screened next to the dance floor. :: Photos by Gray Photography25 Photos
Tania + Chris
Originally, Tania + Chris were due to get married alongside the majestic blue waters of the Gulf Coasts. Unfortunately, with the oil spill, their plans were drastically changed and in a matter of two months, we recreated a beautiful, meaningful and tropically inspired event at the Villa De Suenos. Designed with bamboo chairs, burlap runners and orchids of many colors, we transformed the home into a posh, yet comfortable site for their wedding. :: Photos by La Dolce Vita Photography12 Photos
Whitney + Ben :: St. Simons Casino
At our first consultation with Whitney and Ben, they expressed how important it was to artfully combine their family histories. Ben's family flew in from Canada and France to attend their wedding on St. Simons Island. We cultivated the menu around Ben's French heritage and Whitney's time in New Orleans, and for favors guests were treated to small jars of honey from Whitney's grandparents' farm. The reception was designed for alfresco Southern style seating in the Atrium of the St. Simons Casino. We lined the tables with mint julep cups and jefferson bowls filled with fresh pink and ivory David Austen roses and vibrant spider mums. :: Photos by Jason Travis15 Photos
