The “Flushing” Bride?

Here comes the bride, all dressed in white … two-ply, extra soft toilet paper?
I did a double take when I read this headline, Bride in Toilet Paper Dress to Tie Knot in Times Square Restroom. It says that the bride will be wearing a gown made from glue, tape and Charmin Ultra Soft and Ultra Strong toilet tissue. The ceremony will take place in Times Sqaure at the Charmin Restrooms, a free luxury public restroom facility. Thoughts? Anyone? |

Ewe!! TACKY! Just plain old tacky! My question is why? Why wear toilet paper? The contest was fine…fun even for a shower game (but even that cancels cool points!), but why get married in it AND in a bathroom! Was Charmin so hard up for advertising that they used this idea from some gofer in the marketing department who read about the contest…wanted to score points with the Marketing Director so she pitch this idea…and the no talent Marketing Director went with it?

Good Lawd!
I saw this on the news and I thought I was dreaming. I do not think you can pay me to get married in a bathroom.

Nice Idea. I think that it is a littel bit bizarre.
