I was talking to my awesome gal pal Saundra who is my cellmate (as opposed to soul mate, and she will totally get what I am saying… The fact that you don’t is immaterial LOL). I realized as she and I were talking about the Captain’s MMA fight in September, that I forgot to blog and share the awesome night we had in Covington, KY. The Captain won his match by submitting his opponent with a rear naked choke. It was awesome! I know that MMA (mixed martial arts) is an acquired taste for some, but I am definitely a hardcore fan!

My heart was beating in my ears when he was making his way to the cage. It was completely insane.

Afterwards, he had a chance to watch the remaining fights on the card.

OH T….you totally deserve to be shameless with a hubby like that (no offense my to my DP). To be quite honest with you I have refused to watch “regular” boxing for some time and will only watch UFC and such. My DP says I get too loud and excited when I watch and may wake the kids.
