Perspective: Operation Love Reunited

image There are days when my stress level is seriously at its max and I want to just scream or take it all out on the heavy bag.  I wasn’t looking for perspective when I found Operation: Love Reunited, but perspective found me.  Op Love is a organization that captures and documents (so lovingly and respectfully) the different transitions of deployed families– pre-deployment, saying goodbye, the deployment and the welcome home.  It is the most beautiful concept, and having gone through everyone of those stages several times, I truly appreciate what they have done for these families.  Photographs are so crucial during times like this– sometimes its the only thing you have to cling to.

  • Thanks for sharing. I was all stressed this morning myself, but this post definitely puts some perspective on that and was a much needed dose of reality. Aaahhh, I feel much better now. A little teary, but much calmer and grounded! These photographers really are giving an amazing gift to these families. So cool.

  • Okay, you got me. I am boohooing my little eyes out! Oh my, my, my!
I have never experienced this myself, but my brother-in-law (a member of the Army National Guard) just returned from his second tour in Irag. And I must say that I have the utmost respect for military spouses — You all are amazing rocks for so many — I don’t think that I could do it on a daily basis. And I am in awe of the love and support that you give to your deployed spouse and to your children.

  • Kay and Erin, you are so welcome. It’s amazing sometimes the things we take for granted and appreciate if we take a moment and slow down.

Christina, definitely contact them and PLEASE keep me in the loop. I would love to know how it turns out and see your awesome images.

    Happy Friday, everyone!

  • Would you mind basically if I cite a couple of your discussions given that I deliver you credit as well as article sources returning to your webblog? My web portal is in the identical market as your site and my prospects would definitely use some of the advice you actually present at this website. Please let me know if this is okay with you. Adios for now!
